Mr Tariq Bell

Tariq Bell is now in his third decade as an educator, having worked in London, Hong Kong and a variety of schools in Dubai. His wealth of experience includes two previous Head of Secondary roles. A graduate of Royal Holloway, University of London and the Institute of Education, Tariq has also acquired his NPQH.
Tariq’s experience in the UAE commenced seventeen years ago and he is immensely proud to have been a part of the transformational change in the Dubai education sector. Tariq has a passion for exciting, engaging and thought provoking Teaching and Learning frameworks that drive progress and attainment, yet bring character and energy to the school community.
Tariq’s experience of working within IBO and British curriculums, independent, private and state schools makes him particularly interested in the transferable learning skills that are proving increasingly essential for success in the third millennium. Originally a Geography Teacher, Tariq is keen to help Sunmarke students expand their practical learning opportunities, especially outside of the classroom.
Tariq describes the Secondary School as a fabulously exciting place for any child to study. Our drive towards excellence is seeing great success on academic, sporting and a variety of other fronts.
