Mrs Jodie Lambourn
Assistant Headteacher – Secondary
Jodie Lambourn is an experienced English Language and Literature teacher, who has been working in this field for a decade. She was the Head of English at Sunmarke for six years, and started her role as Assistant Headteacher in September 2022, where she has been responsible for leading on Teaching and Learning.
She is passionate about developing teachers, believing that enthusiasm, a passion for your subject, tenacity and drive ensure success in getting the best outcomes for students. She is an advocate for self-reflective practice to keep up-to-date with new pedagogical concepts.
Jodie holds a degree in Psychology from Canterbury Christ Church University, Kent. Jodie has completed BSO level 1 and 2 inspector training and has also completed both the NPQML and NPQSL courses. These qualifications have helped her develop her leadership skills and to stay engaged with the latest trends and practices in education.
