My name is Shambhavi Pradhan, and I am a proud alumnus of Sunmarke School, having graduated in 2023. I completed my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, achieving an A* in all three subjects, an A in AS Level Psychology and an A in my Extended Project Qualification.
I joined Sunmarke in 2021 at the start of Year 12 after completing my IB MYP exams at a previous school. My time at Sunmarke has been invaluable; the teachers were incredibly supportive, guiding me through everything from academic content to my EPQ and university applications. I also appreciated the numerous spaces within the school that allowed me to connect with friends and classmates.
Currently, I am pursuing Medicine and Surgery at Humanitas University in Milan, Italy. My ultimate career goal is to specialize in a specific medical field, and I anticipate discovering my passion during my hospital rotations in my third year.
To current Sunmarke students, I would say: As you transition into the professional world, remember that growth often comes with challenges. Initially, navigating independently can be tough, but it becomes easier with time. School is just the first chapter of your journey, but it’s a crucial one in achieving your aspirations. The lessons you learn now will pave the way for your future success.
