Growing up in Dubai after being born in Slovakia, I’ve always appreciated the cultural diversity that defines both the city and Sunmarke. Being part of such an inclusive and dynamic school community has shaped who I am and inspired me to lead with purpose and empathy.
In my final year, I had the honour of serving as Deputy Head Girl for 2024–2025, a role that allowed me to give back to the school in meaningful ways. I focused on strengthening school spirit and encouraging students to engage with global issues—particularly through sports leadership and my work on the eco-committee.
Leading initiatives like recycling stalls, flea markets, and mentoring primary students was incredibly rewarding. These experiences not only nurtured my passion for community service and environmental responsibility but also reinforced the importance of teamwork and collective action.
As I move forward to my next chapter, I carry with me the values, leadership experience, and global perspective that Sunmarke has instilled in me. I will always be proud to have represented a community that empowers its students to make a real difference.
